Small but beautiful. Our hardwood coasters are turned and finished by hand, showcasing the natural grain and warmth of solid timber. They make a brilliant gift, a lovely set for your own home, or the perfect addition to a table you've already bought from us. The more you use them, the better they look.
Our coasters are made from solid hardwood — typically oak, ash or walnut depending on availability. Each one is cut, shaped and finished by hand at Lower Foker Farm in Leek, Staffordshire. The natural grain pattern on every coaster is completely unique, which means no two sets are ever identical. They're finished with our own board butter to nourish the wood and provide a natural water-resistant surface.
Hardwood coasters are incredibly easy to look after. Simply wipe clean with a damp cloth after use and dry immediately. Every few months, give them a rub with food-safe mineral oil or our own Serendipity Board Butter to keep the wood nourished. Never leave them soaking in water and keep them away from direct heat sources. Treated well, they'll genuinely improve with age.
